Educational qualification

• For Post Research Assistant Grade-I: Master's Degree in Science in the relevant subject from a  recognized university 
• For Post Library Information Assistant: Graduate from a recognized university with Bachelor's degree in Library Science from recognized University.
• For post Junior Hindi Translator: Master’s degree from a recognized University in Hindi/English with English/ Hindi as compulsory/ elective subject or as medium of examination at degree level
• For Post Tracer: (1) 12th pass from a Government recognized Board. (2) Certificate in Draftsmanship from a Government recognized Institute.
• For post Forester :12th pass from a Government recognized Board. Physical Standard
• For Post Forest Guard 10th pass from a Government recognized Board. Physical Standard
• For post Artist Grade- III: (1) 12th pass from a Government recognized Board. (2) Certificate of Fine Arts from a Government recognized Institute.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to pay non-refundable application fee for Rs.200/- (Rupees two hundred only) through bank Demand Draft drawn in favour of the ‘Accounts Officer, Forest Research Institute’ payable at Dehradun from any Nationalized bank.The SC/ST/PH and all female candidates are exempted from the payment of the application fee
